Hmm, it might not be your WiFi. I had the issue on my iPhone just now that the comment submit button didn’t close the comment box, I also pressed it twice. Second time since recently. I’ll log the bug!

At first I was glad to see 17 comments on a post! ;)

Interesting development; I read a long analysis here recently on how Biden was the “probably yes” option with Harris as the most likely alternative, this is decidedly rejecting both.

I’d vote for democratic conservative Joe Manchin

I was ok with Manchin till he didn’t renew that tax credit for poor families that was in the original Covid relief package. (I can’t recall the name of it.)West Virginia has so many poor working families, single parent families who were really helped by that money. Meanwhile, Manchin’s not going to the food pantry.

The electoral beatings will continue until morale improves.

A seriously sad state of affairs all around, indeed.

      I'd vote for Oprah.

Jeff, I was thinking that I would, too!

I’d vote for a moderate Republican. All set with Hollywood and glitz.

I think we need a charismatic, very intelligent philosopher with extraordinary communication skills who can explain ourselves to ourselves.

I heard McConaughey speak after the Uvalde tragedy and he was passionate and convincing—despite his Lincoln commercials. It’s Lincoln, not Buick, right? I wouldn’t know how to pick the right cult political personality because I could never have imagined Trump having this kind of staying power.

I think we need an intelligent and charismatic philosopher with excellent communication skills to explain ourselves to ourselves so we can be Americans for the first time
