Loved this! Lots to consider. I can remember so much of my past - vivid details. The entire trajectory, the joys and sorrows. Mostly, I remember distinctly hearing a voice, my intuition, telling me that so much of what I was learning in school was not true. It sent me on a rebellious path to find the truth, my truth. Such an adventure. How can one not evolve as they age? I started off rebellious and fearless. Now, at 66, with so much sickness and death looming within my own immediate circle, I’ve had to fight to remain grounded. Open to all of life, it’s complexities, wonder and mysteries. To not be afraid of such vulnerability - to be courageous and hopeful. Live fully with uncertainty and acceptance of what life brings.
Having a perspective on our ‘self’ becoming is the missing link between the continuance of civilisation and reversion to barbarism. Actual.
Thanks for posting - really enjoyed thinking about this.
