      Fascinating history. I find that I so much prefer reading the news than watching it. I can feel the difference in my nervous system.

        Superb read, I agree. I’m not digesting and retaining all the historical trails Fiona takes us along, but I can see the thread. It’s so important to see how we’ve arrived at where we are in Ukraine and find a way to stop this gobbling up of a free country.

          Without starting World War III, of course! Fiona says we're already there, but I don't think anyone (even Putin) wants to see a full scale war between NATO and Russia. Unfortunately as she points out there is not too much else we can do given Western Europe's dependence on Russian natural gas. It's a really unfortunate situation and scary to think about how much the same principle applies to America's dependence on China for seemingly just about everything.

            I hope it makes us think long and hard about our policies, Jeff. Just like Covid made me realize how much of our pharmaceuticals are made in China!!! They wouldn’t have to fire a shot—just poison us or unleash a pandemic!!!
