There's one song in particular that reliably gives me the chills. How about you?

Okay, what is the song? And can you share why? I literally could not pick one song. At Last, by Etta James and I Was Born To Love You by Queen are 2 songs of great meaning because those songs remind me of when I fell head over heels in love with my second husband.

those songs remind me of when I fell head over heels in love with my second husband.

          Very interesting!

My own pick doesn't really have any emotional associations, it's just something about the music itself. "Happy Up Here", by the band Röyksopp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51Bpx63wkbA

Especially when the more intense whispered lyrics start at around the 2 minute mark. I guess it's the same phenomenon as those ASMR videos that were so popular a few years back.

You are the best - thanks so much for sharing! I found myself smiling and grooving to the beat - it IS a happy song! I also liked the video. Title is great.

Love this article because I am the “chilliest” person I know. Music really affects me. It can alter my mood immediately, take me back in time, illicit a certain memory, place, person, event. The list is VERY long. My taste ranges from Motown, Jazz, Standards, Classical, Gospel, Blues, and pop. Artists include Elvis, Sinatra, Joplin, Etta James, Queen, Righteous Brothers, KD Lange, Adele, Aretha Franklin, Mozart, Schumann - seriously, endless. I am a sound, lyric, melody receptor but I also love silence, especially when walking in nature. I never listen to anything but the birds, wind and my inner voice during those moments.
