Living on-campus sounds like increasingly less fun, the more and more I read into it at its present state. I lived in the dorms my freshman year of undergrad, and definitely look back at those times fondly.. however due to the immense amount of restrictions on the dorms, it doesn't seem like it would be all that fun..

I am afraid university life will become increasingly corporate and faculty will be seen increasingly as disposable, and the repositories of culture and knowledge will have to shift elsewhere.

The above quote: is from a faculty member. And it makes you question the legitimacy 'traditional' universities will come to lay bare. I believe this is accelerating a trend that experiencing an education in an offline setting will increasingly be viewed as a luxury experience, whereas an online education will only be able to do so much?

However, I am fascinated by the prospect of a digital education transforming the way in which we approach the educational process. Cheers to what will inevitably be a rocky time transitioning our education in the time of COVID.
