I rarely ever take aspirin, therefore it works amazingly well. It is a miracle drug. Same with antibiotics - insanely affective. But so many drugs are overused and abused. For me, the first line of defense against disease is diet and exercise. Neither have to be extreme - just whole, natural foods and some kind of sustained movement. Add in connection with nature and other quality humans and you are off to a splendid start.
