By far the most important factor to my own creativity is the author’s sixth point, avoiding interruptions. I can be creative without purpose, and without being strongly motivated, and certainly without scheduling a time to be creative. Even a lack of skill doesn’t stunt my creativity, with Photoshop being my own counter-example. I will never master that behemoth. But there is one thing that stops my own creativity cold: interruptions. And to that point, the environment is aso important.
Good article. It makes me wonder if pseudonyms will become more popular to avoid scrutiny.
Not sure if this is just a so-so Onion article, or a brilliant show of contempt by mailing it in.
I am not sure what the point of the article is. It touched on Warren’s story, her ideas, how she compares to other candidates and whether a detailed policy platform is even a good thing but didn’t leave me feeling significantly better informed about any of those subjects.
There are a number of foods that i don’t like raw, but would not tell others they shouldn’t enjoy them. I happen to like raw mushrooms, including when they are under-cooked on pizza. And though variety is the spice of life, there is nothing wrong with the common button mushroom. All in all, this article is advice on how to eat mushrooms by someone who doesn’t seem to like them. What’s next: “if you must eat raw broccoli for god’s sake dip it in some ranch”?
