Season two of White Lotus is a “show about nothing.” But unlike Seinfeld and it’s complex and compelling characters, season two is just a painful reminder of our shallow, ego driven culture - like we need one? Even the breathtaking beauty of Sicily can’t elevate this lackluster season. Yet I keep tuning in hoping there is a remarkable shift, something utterly surprising and unusual, to restore my faith in the brilliance of creator Mike White.
