Mad respect for people who go around lookin’ fly all the time, but I derive great pleasure from non-consumption. I just looked down at everything I’m wearing right now and it’s 100% thrifted except for my underwear (because I’m not that intense) and a pair of inexpensive REI-brand wool socks that I gifted myself before hiking the Appalachian Trail. I’m not saying this to brag or make a point, but just that it brings me peace and satisfaction to stay mega simple. It clears my mind of a lot of unnecessary noise.

I wonder if Jia will ever write a non-10. She’s so good it’s crazy.
