      I would like to know how long people stay in tech jobs. It seems like bouncing around is common. Some of these perks might be needed to persuade new talent, then it seems to get in the way of productivity.... an odd dilemma.

      Wow, SO creepy! The entire scene seems like seduction with an agenda. Definitely hooks. Tech is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Not trustworthy in my estimation.

      people will come to love their oppression, to adore the technologies that undo their capacities to think.

      Perfect example of this is the irony that Slack is given a prominent voice in this article.

      Despite Slack’s supposedly great internal culture, they are building a tool that everyone else is using to destroy their own.

        Slack (the software) isn’t for work, it’s for play. Just as Facebook isn’t news, it’s something else entirely.

        (I miss the office and coffee at DMI.)
