Only in encountering the uncontrollable do we experience the world in its depth and complexity and come fully alive.

Iain McGilchrist & Paul Kingsnorth’s writings on our time & age are so important for getting back to the roots of what being human truly means. Especially in the age of AI.

What if AI freed us from the mundane, and allowed humans to propel themselves to the quest of the good, the true & the beautiful?

I find McGilchrist’s conceptualization of the right-brain v. left-brain dichotomy fascinating & this certainly won’t be the last I read of his work.

I found this article to be a great introductory piece to the type of writing he does, especially after listening to McGilchrist speak on various podcasts.

Adding Master & His Emissary to my reading list to get a better perspective on the bi-lateral composition of the brain & how it orients our thought, and therefore our way of being.
