Is anybody on planet Earth even remotely surprised to discover that Hollywood is a hotbed of misogyny? (Is "discover" even the right word? Can you "discover" that the sky is blue?)
I think the article fails because it forces me to assume that Debra Granik, Tamara Jenkins and Lynne Ramsay are incredible, visionary artists. Talk about their art, Cara Buckley! Their creations! Talk about the genius of these women! TALK ABOUT THE FILMS for crying out loud!!!
