      Great news, but I imagine that a bunch of good 'ol boys are going to be screaming about the first amendment and their "heritage" right about now.

      As far as dropping confederate names from military properties though:

      President Trump, however, shut down any such discussions, writing on Twitter on Wednesday that “my Administration will not even consider the renaming of these Magnificent and Fabled Military Installations.”

        I've never understood why we named bases after people who openly waged war against the country. Imagine having a Fort Ho Chi Minh, or Camp Yamamoto.
