We will never reach peak Hans Zimmer.
Beyonce and Jay Z just dropped a new album that was only available on Tidal. In theory, I love the thought of an artist-owned music streaming service. In practice, it turns out it's a bit more difficult
I've tried reading less Trump news because it honestly makes me more anxious. Yet, he finds a way to dominate the news cycle every hour and then makes statements like: "I might be wrong, but I'll never admit it, I'll just find some kind of excuse."
I don't see who could be celebrating Trump and Kim Jong Un's meeting and I'm not quite sure who would celebrate a leader who transparently admits that he will never admit fault.
Just read this - and it's fascintating. To me, Breakfast Club as one of those formative movies that really spoke to me, especially as an agnsty teen and to have Molly Ringwald herself revisit it - and beautifully write about all the contradictions and complications that it presents in today's climate is so interesting. At the end of the article, I'm left like Molly - a bit disturbed, with a new perspective on movies that don't age well...but still a part of me thankful that the movie exists.
This is the article that went viral and essentially launched Anthony Bourdain's career. It's gritty and funny and insightful and surprisingly thoughtful and deep. It's vintage Tony. He will be missed.
