This arrangement would not work for me. I feel the real deepening of any relationship is when the “new” wears off. I wouldn’t desire another person coming in “to puncture the seal.” I feel my partner and I need to let in “the light and air” in new and inventive ways. Being challenged is how I experience growth - personal and relational. Open marriage may become the new black. And to each their own in that regard.
