Very difficult to read. I grew up with a lot of anger, anxiety, confusion and contention due to my parents marriage difficulties and my catholic schooling. I knew at a young age what I did not want in a relationship. Raising my own children was the best time in my life, full of love and joy. Yet there were times I felt the frustration that naturally arises raising children and being in a partnership. It has given me compassion, understanding and humility. We are all vulnerable - we do the best we can. Alcoholism is a sickness. I’m glad I also learned that and did not repeat it.
