I liked this in all its kooky drama and antics. I liked the references to all the books on divorce, as I am divorced. Most people do divorce poorly, spend all their hard earned money on lawyers, blame each other and consequently learn nothing of value! I divorced my husband while still loving him. We grew apart, plain and simple. That did not taint our first 20 years together, which were exciting, adventurous and expansive.
I read this a while ago, and still think it’s worth posting. To me, it was amusing but also seriously interesting how much the (division of) everyday chores plays a role in this story. There’s love, and then there’s a life and shared (house) work. All are important!

I’m glad to hear this intentional and conciliatory way of life is also possible!
