      Wow, I feel this is an exceptional article on anxiety and how to treat it holistically. I’ve had a lot of anxiety since Covid. The pandemic was the initial catalyst. The unbelievable shifts and changes in our country, world and environment are upending. We are all experiencing systemic global anxiety in some form or another. Additionally, I’m finding that the older I get, the more I’m surrounded by illnesses and loss within my own family. Thankfully I have been implementing tools, such as meditation, Qi Gong and walks in nature, that can really help to calm and ground me. I’m fortunate in that I’m retired and have the time for self care. I feel such compassion for those who are working and who are also raising a family. We all need support. I try to be more patient, kind and understanding when out and about because I don’t know everyone’s story and why they behave the way they do. More than ever, I start my day in gratitude and with an intention to focus on all the good in my life and in others. And there is a lot of good. I have switched to reading the news from reliables sources because there is less rapid fire alarm, sensationalism and fear. It can certainly hijack one’s hope and central nervous system.
