I feel blessed with my relationships with my adult children. All of them have been Frank with me about times or situations where I’ve hurt or disappointed them and I listen and often can see their point. I apologize and ask for forgiveness. I also called out my own mom and she was understanding and gracious. I can certainly understand the need for estrangement in toxic circumstances and it is good people can find other support systems.
