However, women aged 15–24 who reported having used the Internet in the past week were, on average, less happy with the place they live, compared with people who didn’t use the web. This could be because people who do not feel welcome in their community spend more time online
If we can strengthen communities (especially by maintaining community spaces!) we'll support social and individual well-being. To the extent people can connect to supportive communities in-person, the internet can be a skillful tool to support our lives rather than an alternative place of living full-time.
