Thor, the older I get, the more liberating it is to say “I don’t know.” It doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion, just that I am open to other opinions and ideas. Because of articles on Readup concerning statistics on how many people feel they know a lot more than they actually do, it gave me pause. How much have I really looked into this person/subject/situation and how much of it is just opinions of others that I happen to agree with? I can be lazy with my research! Readup has been SO expansive in that area for me. The diversity of reliable, credible articles and the community - both have really opened me up. I’m beginning to feel that discernment is more beneficial than judgement.
I read Bezos and my first instinct is avoid, avoid, avoid especially when he is focusing on space and leaving behind a ton of waste with the company (such a perspective shifter to be a part of recycling team and grasp just how much waste is accumulated..)
That said: this is phenomenal advice and I have my own vulnerable ignorant juxtaposing contradictory faults as an imperfect human, also.
I really strive to celebrate change and being proven wrong. Kinda fun actually! If we allow…. Like seasons as I am sitting outdoors at coffee shop fully celebratory of my favorite cozy season: Fall.

This is why it's so important to be open to criticism.
Negative feedback is like a freshly mined diamond. To the naked eye, it's ugly. But if you cut it and polish it, viewing the criticism not as an attack, but as potentially valuable, you can use it to improve and grow. Much like how a diamond cutter takes a raw diamond and turns it into something beautiful, you can learn to extract the benefits of criticism.
Truthfully, I have a ways to go to get to an ideal conscious environmental being (bill does an Deeply Admirable job as such from my perspective).
