I could see where these pillars are at least a good inroad into discussions about a relationship. It makes sense that such a language is fluid and include different types of relationships, “circumstances and seasons of life.”
Seems like a very balanced critique to me and definitely a useful concept to help partners understand each other. My clients still reference the book.
